Towards a New 3D Diagnosis of Severity of lung infections representative of the 7-day evolution of the patient’s state of health

Our Solution

« For each patient, from his/her X-ray scan, Visible Patient extracts a 3D model of pathological areas and healthy areas of his/her lungs. From this 3D data we have created a new severity score of lung damage that should allow for a more precise diagnosis. »

Our Results

« Tested on a clinical database of 40 patients from the Strasbourg University Hospital, the score provides a severity level of lung damage in correlation with the clinical state of the patient in the 7 days after the CT-scan. »

Covid19 NDS project
